REIKI IN PETS
Reiki can be performed on our pets and in general on animals, since it´s a non-invasive therapy and that does not require contact, it can be done successfully in traumatized, scared, abused or even on wild animals.
When performing Reiki on animals, they respond positively intuitively, feeling the support that Reiki provides in the healing of emotional, behavioral and physical illnesses and their wounds.
Reiki is used in animals to:
– Healthy animals: helps to maintain health, relax and release stress, generating in them a state of satisfaction and tranquility. It increases their energy levels and provides physical and emotional vitality.
– Sick animals: helps balance the body, boost the effects of veterinary treatments and reduce the side effects of some of them.
– Competition or work animals: It helps to maintain high energy levels, to control anxiety and fear and after events or competitions to relax the whole body and release the stress and adrenaline generated. As well as to reduce the impact generated by our anxiety regarding its performance.
– In animals in the terminal stage: it comforts and gives strength in the face of pain, fear and anxiety, making them more bearable.
The sessions can be 1 or 2 per week depending on the case and it is recommended once the program is finished to continue every 2 weeks for at least 2 months.
